WB Ute

Full-sized Holdens were based on a platform designed in the late-sixties and were starting to show their age by 1980. They were based on the '71 HQ and engines from the sixties.

At the same time, the smaller and more fuel-efficient Holden Commodore was released two years earlier, so the final swan-song for full-sized Holdens was the WB.

Rarely seen these days as the commercial grill treatment was not well-liked at the time. It has since become a rarity so has interest value of its own and being distinctive, gives it an air of coolness.
