Imported by Honda NZ as a used car, this model was also sold new in NZ for over $NZ90,000. Loaded with every imaginable automotive gadget, some of the features on this car are only found on luxury cars made over ten years later. Never designed for sharp handling, the Legend can be made to turn corners with a few modifications. Most of the technology on this car was first tested on the Mark I Legend. Later models improved many of the features found on this car but these later models were never imported into New Zealand and were very rarely imported from the right-hand drive markets (Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong or Singapore).
